Opening Times

The Heritage Centre (Dower House) is open between 10.00 am and 12 noon on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
During these times you can visit the Museum, see the Archives and browse around the Shop. On sale are publications, postcards, photographs and souvenirs to name but a few.

You can also stop for a refreshment.  We serve home baking and freshly brewed Fair Trade coffee at very reasonable prices!
WiFi access is available in the House.  Ideal if you want to come along with your laptop to do some research or just do a bit of surfing while enjoying a cup of coffee.

Corstorphine Trust

A stroll around the village
For the next four Saturdays (11, 18 and 25 July and 1 August) there will be guided walks round the old historic village of Corstorphine.
Setting off from the Dower House at 10.00 am, the walks last approximately one hour, finishing back at the Dower House, where there will be an opportunity to have a look at the archive and museum.
The walk is free but we suggest a donation of £4.00 which includes a cup of tea or coffee.
Numbers are limited to each guide.  If you are interested in taking part in one of the walks please contact the archivist directly using the archivist contact button.
